Welcome to the official web site of the Long Island Chargers organization. We are a girls fastpitch softball organization based out of Long Island, New York playing in ASA, PONY, and USSSA sponsored tournaments throughout the USA.

This 2014/2015 season will mark the 24th season of competition for the LI Chargers.

Our organization team players range in age from 11 to 18 years of age.

Our 18 and under teams go and/or get invited to the
BEST SHOWCASES IN THE NORTH EAST.

All teams are administered by a Team of Coaches and dedicated parents who volunteer their time to do everything from coaching, fund raising, and running the organization. Many thanks to the Board of Directors for their dedication throughout the year and our sponsors and Chargers advertisers for their continued support.

This site is where you will find useful links and information about the game of fastpitch softball. Visit our directories below with links to our tournament schedule, fastpitch softball links, other fastpitch teams on the WEB and more. We are always looking for sponsors. If you would like to sponsor any tournaments or tryout for any of our teams please send an e-mail to chargerstnt@aol.com

A note to all parents and players:

Be aware that when you visit other travel ball
sites you will see a list of "Committed" players.
Years ago, these postings were strictly meant for players who
"signed to play college softball".
Recently, the word has taken on (2) meanings.
It's wise to look at the past players listed and then the college rosters.
You might find that "committed" could mean either
they "signed" to play college softball or are "committed" to attend the school only
.
At the 16u & 18u levels, parents should also ask if they play on the main fields
at a tournament or not. This is very important to know!
Regardless of where you choose to play, know the facts and ask questions.
